We recommend reading each garment care instructions carefully. Below are some useful tips and tricks on maintaining our product’s cleanliness and longevity without damaging the fabric.
 

1. Satin:
   Satin is a smooth, glossy fabric characterized by a high thread count and a reflective surface. It has a luxurious feel.

Care Guide
    - Hand wash in cold water or use the delicate cycle in a washing machine.
    - Use a mild detergent to preserve the fabric's sheen.
    - Avoid wringing or twisting; instead, gently press out excess water.
    - Air dry or use a low heat setting in a dryer.

 

2. Mikado Silk:
  Mikado silk is a heavy, blended silk fabric with a crisp texture and subtle sheen. It is commonly used for structured dresses and formalwear.

Care Guide
    - Dry clean only to maintain the fabric's structure.
    - If a stain occurs, spot clean with a damp cloth.
    - Avoid exposure to direct sunlight to prevent fading.
    - Store in a cool, dry place to prevent mold and mildew.

 

3. Damask:
  Damask is an intricate, reversible fabric featuring woven patterns. The fabric’s design is created through the weaving technique, which is a combination of two different weaving techniques—the design is woven using a satin weave, while the background is achieved through a plain, twill, or sateen weave.

    - Machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent.
    - Use cold water to prevent color fading.
    - Avoid bleach as it may damage the intricate patterns.
    - Iron on the reverse side at a low to medium temperature.

 

4. Silk Fabric:
  Silk is a natural fiber known for its smooth, soft texture and luxurious appearance.

    - Avoid wringing and air dry to prevent stretching.
    - Iron on a low setting while the fabric is still slightly damp.
    - Store in a breathable garment bag to prevent moisture retention.

 

5. Ankara:
  Ankara, or African wax print fabric, is vibrant and colorful cotton cloth often used in traditional African clothing. It features bold patterns and is popular for its cultural significance.

    - Machine wash with cold water and mild detergent.
    - Wash Ankara fabrics inside out to preserve the colors.
    - Air dry or use a low heat setting in a dryer to avoid excessive shrinkage.
    - Iron on the reverse side using a cotton setting.

 

6. Asoke:
 Asoke is a handwoven fabric originating from Nigeria, traditionally used for ceremonial attire. It is characterized by its rich texture and vibrant colors.

    - Iron on the reverse side with a low to medium heat setting.
