WHY REPAIR MATTERS
Every piece in the LSJ Regal collection is made to order — built with intention, constructed with care, and designed to be worn more than once. When something we have made needs repair, bringing it back to us is not an inconvenience. It is the natural continuation of the relationship between a woman and the clothes that matter to her.
Repair is also how we honour the craft. A loose seam or a worn closure does not mean the piece is finished. It means it has been lived in — and it deserves to be restored so it can live again.

Seam Repairs
Seams that have come apart or weakened over time can be carefully re-stitched and reinforced to restore the original construction of your piece. We work to ensure the repair is invisible — because it should be.
Closure Repairs
Zips, hooks, eyes, and fasteners that have broken or worn down can be replaced. We source closures that match the original as closely as possible to maintain the integrity of the piece.
Structural Repairs
Where the structure of a piece has shifted — lining coming loose, internal supports weakening — we can assess and restore what is needed to return the piece to its original form.
Please note: Fabric damage including tears, staining, or significant wear to the outer fabric of a piece is outside the scope of our repair service. We will always assess your piece honestly and let you know what is and is not possible before proceeding.
HOW THE REPAIR PROCESS WORKS
01. Contact us
Reach out via lsjregal.com, Instagram DM, or WhatsApp. Describe the issue with your piece — a brief description and photographs are helpful. Tell us the name of the piece and approximately when you purchased it.
02. We assess your piece
Our team will review the information you provide and advise whether the repair is within our scope. If we need to see the piece in person, we will arrange for it to be sent to us securely.
03. We provide an estimate
Before any repair work begins, we will provide you with a clear estimate of the cost and timeline. No work proceeds without your approval. No surprise charges.
04. We repair your piece
Once approved, your piece is repaired by the same hands and with the same care that made it in the first place. We do not cut corners on repairs any more than we cut corners in construction.
05. Your piece is returned to you
Your repaired piece is returned to you cleaned, pressed, and packaged — ready to return to your wardrobe and to the moments that matter.
REPAIR COSTS
Repair costs vary depending on the nature and extent of the work required. We do not charge for assessment — your piece will always be evaluated at no cost before any commitment is made.
Once our team has assessed your piece, we will provide a clear, itemised estimate before proceeding. You are in control of every step of the process.
All repairs carry a minimum assessment period of 3 to 5 working days. Repair timelines vary by complexity and will always be communicated upfront.
This policy governs the terms and conditions of the Preloved by LSJ resell programme operated by LSJ Regal Fashion House Limited. By submitting a piece to the Preloved by LSJ programme, the seller agrees to be bound by the terms set out in this policy in full.
LSJ Regal reserves the right to update or amend this policy at any time. The current version will always be published on lsjregal.com. Continued participation in the programme following any amendment constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
PRELOVED BY LSJ POLICY
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 LSJ Regal
refers to LSJ Regal Fashion House Limited, the operator of the Preloved by LSJ programme, registered in Nigeria.
1.2 The Seller
refers to the individual submitting an LSJ Regal piece for resale through the Preloved by LSJ programme.
1.3 The Buyer
refers to the individual purchasing a piece listed through the Preloved by LSJ programme.
1.4 The Piece
refers to any LSJ Regal garment or accessory submitted for authentication and listing through the programme.
1.5 The Listing Price
refers to the agreed sale price at which the piece is listed on lsjregal.com.
1.6 Commission
refers to the 15% retained by LSJ Regal from each completed sale, covering authentication, photography, listing, and fulfilment.
1.7 Seller Proceeds
refers to the 85% of the final sale price paid to the seller following a completed transaction.
2. ELIGIBILITY
To be eligible for listing through Preloved by LSJ, a piece must meet all of the following conditions:
2.1 Authenticity
The piece must be a genuine LSJ Regal piece, verifiable through order records, design details, and construction. LSJ Regal is the sole authority on authenticity determinations and its decision is final.
2.2 Condition
The piece must be clean, pressed, and free of staining, odour, or significant visible wear. Minor signs of careful use are acceptable at LSJ Regal's discretion.
2.3 Structural Integrity
Seams, closures, lining, and fabric must be intact. Pieces with broken closures, open seams, or structural damage are not eligible for the Preloved programme but may be referred to the LSJ Regal repair service.
2.4 Origin
Only pieces from the LSJ Regal collection are eligible. Pieces from SebyLsj Studio or any third-party brand are not accepted.
2.5 Ownership
The seller must be the rightful owner of the piece and must have the authority to sell it. LSJ Regal accepts no liability for disputes arising from fraudulent or unauthorised submissions.
3. SUBMISSION PROCESS
3.1 Initial Contact
The seller contacts LSJ Regal via lsjregal.com, Instagram DM, WhatsApp, or email at info@lsjregal.com, providing the piece name, original purchase date where known, current condition, and clear photographs of the front, back, and any areas of wear or detail.
3.2 Preliminary Assessment
LSJ Regal will conduct a preliminary assessment based on the information and photographs provided. This assessment is not a guarantee of listing and is subject to physical inspection of the piece.
3.3 Physical Submission
If the preliminary assessment is favourable, the seller will be required to send the piece to LSJ Regal for physical authentication. The cost of sending the piece to LSJ Regal is borne by the seller.
3.4 Authentication
LSJ Regal will authenticate the piece upon physical receipt. Authentication covers the verification of origin, condition, structural integrity, and compliance with the eligibility conditions set out in Section 2. The authentication process takes 3 to 5 working days.
3.5 Authentication Outcome
LSJ Regal will communicate the authentication outcome to the seller within the stated timeframe. If the piece passes authentication, the listing process proceeds. If the piece fails authentication, it will be returned to the seller at the seller's cost.
4. PRICING AND COMMISSION
4.1 Listing Price Agreement
Following successful authentication, LSJ Regal will propose a listing price based on the original retail price of the piece, its current condition, and prevailing demand. The seller has the right to approve or negotiate the listing price before the piece is listed.
4.2 Minimum Listing Price
LSJ Regal reserves the right to set a minimum listing price for any piece to protect the integrity of the brand. No piece will be listed at a price that LSJ Regal deems inconsistent with the brand's market positioning.
4.3 Commission Structure
LSJ Regal retains 15% of the final sale price as commission. This covers authentication, photography, listing on lsjregal.com, marketing to the LSJ Regal community, and fulfilment of the sale. The seller receives 85% of the final sale price.
4.4 Price Adjustments
If a piece has not sold within 60 days of listing, LSJ Regal may propose a price reduction to the seller. Any price adjustment requires the seller's written approval before it is implemented. The seller may decline a price adjustment, in which case the piece continues at the current price until the 90-day listing period expires.
5. LISTING AND MARKETING
5.1 Photography
LSJ Regal will photograph each authenticated piece to the brand's editorial standard before listing. The seller does not provide photography. All images remain the intellectual property of LSJ Regal.
5.2 Listing Duration
Each piece is listed for a maximum of 90 days from the date it goes live on lsjregal.com. If the piece has not sold within 90 days, the seller will be contacted to discuss relisting at a revised price or return of the piece.
5.3 Marketing
LSJ Regal may promote Preloved by LSJ pieces through its social media channels, email communications, and website at its sole discretion. LSJ Regal makes no guarantee that any specific piece will be featured in any specific marketing activity.
5.4 Listing Removal
LSJ Regal reserves the right to remove any piece from listing at any time if it determines that the piece no longer meets the programme standards or that its listing conflicts with the brand's interests. The seller will be notified and the piece returned.
6. SALE AND PAYMENT TO SELLER
6.1 Sale Confirmation
LSJ Regal will notify the seller when a piece has been sold. The sale is confirmed when payment from the buyer has been received and cleared in full.
6.2 Payment Timeline
Seller proceeds of 85% of the final sale price will be paid to the seller within 5 working days of confirmed sale and cleared payment. Payment will be made via bank transfer to the account details provided by the seller at the time of submission.
6.3 Payment Currency
All payments are made in Nigerian Naira unless otherwise agreed in writing between LSJ Regal and the seller prior to listing.
6.4 Payment Disputes
Any dispute regarding payment must be raised by the seller within 14 days of the expected payment date. Disputes raised after this period may not be honoured. LSJ Regal will investigate all payment disputes in good faith and respond within 5 working days.
7. UNSOLD PIECES
7.1 End of Listing Period
If a piece has not sold within the 90-day listing period, LSJ Regal will contact the seller with the following options: relisting at a revised price by mutual agreement, or return of the piece to the seller.
7.2 Return of Unsold Pieces
If the seller elects to have an unsold piece returned, the cost of return shipping is borne by the seller. LSJ Regal will arrange return shipping and invoice the seller for the cost prior to dispatch.
7.3 Extended Listing
LSJ Regal may, at its discretion, offer to relist a piece beyond the 90-day period at a revised price. Any extended listing is subject to a new listing agreement and the seller's written approval of the revised price.
7.4 Abandoned Pieces
If LSJ Regal is unable to reach the seller within 30 days of the end of the listing period and the seller has not responded to return arrangements, LSJ Regal reserves the right to donate the piece to a charitable organisation of its choosing.
8. LIABILITY AND RESPONSIBILITY
8.1 Transit to LSJ Regal
LSJ Regal accepts no liability for pieces lost, damaged, or delayed in transit from the seller to LSJ Regal. The seller is responsible for ensuring the piece is adequately packaged and, where desired, insured for transit.
8.2 While in LSJ Regal's Possession
LSJ Regal will take reasonable care of all pieces while they are in its possession. In the event of damage caused directly by LSJ Regal's negligence, LSJ Regal will assess the situation and provide reasonable compensation to the seller. LSJ Regal's liability is limited to the agreed listing price of the piece.
8.3 Transit to Buyer
LSJ Regal is responsible for the safe packaging and dispatch of sold pieces to buyers. In the event of loss or damage in transit to the buyer, LSJ Regal will manage the resolution with the buyer directly. The seller's proceeds are not affected by transit issues occurring after the piece has left LSJ Regal's possession.
8.4 Buyer Disputes
LSJ Regal manages all communications and disputes with buyers. The seller is not party to any dispute between LSJ Regal and a buyer. If a sale is reversed due to a buyer dispute and the piece is returned, LSJ Regal will notify the seller and discuss next steps.
8.5 Fraudulent Submissions
If a piece submitted to the programme is found to be fraudulent, counterfeit, or submitted without the seller's authority to sell, LSJ Regal reserves the right to withhold the piece, report the matter to the appropriate authorities, and seek recovery of any costs incurred.
9. TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATION
9.1 By the Seller
The seller may withdraw a piece from the programme at any time prior to a confirmed sale by notifying LSJ Regal in writing. The cost of returning the piece to the seller is borne by the seller. If a piece has already been sold and payment received, withdrawal is not possible.
9.2 By LSJ Regal
LSJ Regal may terminate a seller's participation in the programme at any time if the seller has breached any term of this policy, submitted a fraudulent piece, or acted in a manner that LSJ Regal deems harmful to the brand or the programme. In such cases, the piece will be returned to the seller at the seller's cost and no further listings will be accepted from that seller.
9.3 Programme Closure
LSJ Regal reserves the right to suspend or close the Preloved by LSJ programme at any time. In the event of programme closure, all unsold pieces will be returned to their respective sellers and all pending proceeds from completed sales will be paid within 10 working days.
10. GENERAL PROVISIONS
10.1 Governing Law
This policy is governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any disputes arising under this policy that cannot be resolved between the parties directly will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Nigerian courts.
10.2 Entire Agreement
This policy constitutes the entire agreement between LSJ Regal and the seller with respect to the Preloved by LSJ programme and supersedes all prior communications, representations, or agreements.
10.3 Amendments
LSJ Regal may amend this policy at any time. The seller will be notified of material changes. Continued participation in the programme following notification constitutes acceptance of the amended terms.
10.4 Severability
If any provision of this policy is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force and effect.
